Just got off the phone with the seller. The car is still not painted. The painter had to spend some time in jail last week for drunk driving. He's back now and is supposed to finish the car next week. The seller is also still waiting for a part to come in for the LHD conversion. And the title still has to come back from the state. Basically, it'll be 2009 until I have the car.
I'm going insane over here. Throughout this process, my emotions have ranged from excited, to mildly excited, to upset, to now just plan depressed. One can say, "You've waited 4 months; what's another 2 weeks?" Well. An eternity.
At least the Midget is still running strong. So things can certainly be worse.
